Lyon beat Rennes 4-0 to extend their unbeaten start to five matches and remain second in Ligue 1.

In the seventh minute, Ernest Nuamah finished from the centre after Corentin Tolisso's pass.

Nuamah added a second on the break from Pavel Sulc's through ball (30.).

After the restart, Zachary Athekame turned in from close range (48.), before Tolisso arrowed a shot into the top left (76.) from Athekame's cut-back.

Les Gones registered nine shots on target from 15 attempts. Rennes saw more of the ball at 54.7% and produced 13 efforts, testing the goalkeeper four times.

Sulc's assist takes him to three, third in Ligue 1 for assists this season.
