Palmeiras’ stadium was officially renamed Nubank Parque on 11 June after the bank bought the naming rights, ending almost 12 years under the Allianz Parque name.

According to Nosso Palestra, Nubank has begun overhauling the venue’s identity this week, prioritising a full refresh of banners across all areas to show either the company’s logo or the stadium’s new name.

Sites that previously carried “Allianz” or “Allianz Seguros” now display “Nu”, while those marked “Allianz Parque” are being replaced with “Nubank Parque”.

Further adjustments and activations are being studied and executed, including entry portals at Nubank Parque intended to improve the Palmeiras matchday experience.

The city authorities have twice rejected a Nubank proposal to add an LED panel to the arena’s external sign, citing rules that forbid illuminated electronic panels on building facades and allow them only in enclosed internal spaces.

Despite the second refusal, the bank remains in talks with municipal officials to find a way to deliver some of the specific activations it had planned.
