Nubank Parque staged its professional debut in a 2-1 defeat to Atlético-MG last Sunday, with Palmeiras’ stadium rebrand from Allianz Parque still unfinished.

According to Globo.com, the full visual changeover is targeted for the second half of August. The naming deal was announced in May and made official after the World Cup break in early June.

Before the senior bow, Palmeiras hosted Flamengo in an under-17 match, the first official game under the new name. Internal signs had already turned Nubank purple, though areas by Gate A and the press zone still carried Allianz branding.

Between matches, WTorre advanced the rollout, repainting communications lines around the pitch and updating internal signs.

Gate entrances have adopted Nubank purple and the synthetic pitch surrounds are due to receive the bank’s marks. The refreshed palette features purple, green, white and grey.

For Sunday’s 16:00 meeting with Fortaleza, the press tribune will carry the Nubank Parque name and most seats will no longer display the old partner.

One item is unresolved, the exterior LED marquee adaptable to events. Two proposals have been rejected by São Paulo City Hall under the Clean City Law 14.223/2006, and the parties are still seeking agreement.

Terms were not disclosed, but the deal is about R$ 50 million per year, roughly double the previous pact. It runs to 2044, with Palmeiras taking exclusive control from 2045.
