Turkish reports claim that Nuno Tavares is now eager to join Besiktas, but the unwanted Lazio full-back is haggling over his wage demands.
The Portugal international is not part of coach Maurizio Sarri’s plans due to a poor injury record and numerous defensive errors, making him a tough fit for the 4-3-3 formation.

Lazio had agreed a sale to Besiktas some weeks ago for €10m, but were stalled by the player’s refusal to accept the destination.
According to Sports Digitale, the situation has seen some developments with Nuno Tavares now ready to make the move to the Turkish Super Lig.

However, problems still remain, as he wants a higher salary than the one on offer, with Besiktas not prepared to raise their proposal any more.
This is probably related to the report from transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano that Como are no longer interested in Nuno Tavares, instead agreeing terms with Cruzeiro for Kaiki.
