NYCFC hit the road and travel up the east coast to take on New England Revolution this weekend at Gillette Stadium.
The New York City based outfit have been flying up the Eastern Conference table in recent weeks with triumphs over rivals New York Red Bulls and Philadelphia Union. Despite being under enormous amounts of pressure, head coach Nick Cushing appears to have turned NYCFC's season around with six wins from their last seven matches played.
The recent surge in form has allowed NYCFC to climb into third place in the East with 23 points, ahead of Red Bulls only on goal difference. With another three points on the line this weekend against the Revs, Cushing will aim to keep the recent success going to win their fourth match in a row.
Here's how the Boys in Blue could lineup vs New England.

GK: Matt Freese - NYC's starting shot-stopper enjoyed a quiet yet solid outing against Red Bulls, recording three saves to play his part in the victory.
RB: Mitja Ilenic - After a very brief cameo in stoppage time, the 19-year-old gets the starting nod at right-back ahead of Tayvon Gray.
CB: Thiago Martins - The NYCFC club captain anchors the heart of defense and will have to keep an eye on the elusive Carles Gil.
CB: Birk Risa - Perhaps one of the more underrated center-backs in MLS has been solid for most of the 2024 campaign. Risa has been shown just one yellow card and been part of the NYC defense that's conceded just 13 goals this term.
LB: Kevin O'Toole - O'Toole has been a reliable option at left-back all season for Cushing and looks to continue that theme vs the Revs.
DM: Andres Perea - The former Philadelphia Union player is likely to start in the middle of the park due to James Sands' one-game suspension for yellow card accumulation.
DM: Keaton Parks - The experienced midfielder will be called upon to protect the NYCFC backline against the likes of Gil and Tomas Chancalay.
RM: Hannes Wolf - The Austrian has been in cracking form as of late with four goal involvements in his last three matches, so it would be a bit of a surprise to see Cushing leave him out of the lineup.
AM: Santiago Rodriguez - Although Rodriguez didn't find the back of the net or dish out an assist vs Red Bulls, he's still key to the success of NYCFC and spearheads their talented attacking unit.
LM: Agustin Ojeda - The 19-year-old earns his sixth start in an NYCFC shirt and should have numerous chances to make an impact due against a struggling New England defense.
ST: Monsef Bakrar - Fresh off a second-half cameo in which he scored the winning goal, Bakrar looks to get in behind the Revs' backline to finish off chances.
