When you welcome one of Major League Soccer's best teams to town, and one that includes Lionel Messi, it's time to pull out all the stops.

And that's exactly what New York City FC did on Sunday, when Nicolás Fernández equalized against Inter Miami just after the 15-minute mark.

The moment arrived in some style, too. The No. 7 stepped up from outside the box and hit a perfect free-kick off the crossbar and in for 1-1.
