NYCFC vs FC Cincinnati: How to watch, time, more as Pigeons fly to Ohio

After the last road trip, New York City FC should be feeling more confident about their time away from home in Major League Soccer. The Pigeons went 2-1-1 despite some not-so-great play. But the results will hopefully spark the team's belief that they can be successful outside of Yankee Stadium and Citi Field. They will have the first chance to find that success since the road trip, with a match in Ohio against FC Cincinnati.
For a few years, the Orange and Blue dominated the series after the Bronx side did so in the earlier seasons of the matchup. But everything changed last year when NYCFC earned their first win against Cincinnati since 2021 and later beat them in the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs. Plus, they also won the first match of this season, winning 1-0.
However, NYCFC has not won in Cincinnati yet, for they lost the first game of the Best-of-3 series of the playoffs, and then the final match ended in a draw, leading the Pigeons to win via a penalty kick shootout. Therefore, they will have the drive to finally get that win that they have not achieved since 2021. Playing at TQL Stadium is not easy, though, so the match will be very difficult.
Plus, Cincinnati is in first place in the Eastern Conference. While NYCFC won the first matchup, questions surround the team about whether they can win there. Earning all three points would be awesome, but a draw in Ohio could be deemed a solid result.
