Fiorentina are said to be discussing an exchange deal between M’Bala Nzola and Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia, while Olympiacos ask after Josip Brekalo.
The Viola are seeking reinforcements after qualifying for the Coppa Italia semi-finals and the Europa Conference League Round of 16.
Their main concern is the lack of goals from the strikers, especially in the absence of injured Nico Gonzalez.
According to Calciomercato.com, they are discussing a potential swap deal with Salernitana that would send Nzola down to the Stadio Arechi in exchange for Dia.
It is a way out for Boulaye Dia, whose relationship with Salernitana never recovered after they refused his transfer to Wolves on deadline day over the summer.
This could well be an exchange of six-month loans for the two clubs.
There is a similar negotiation rumoured with Roma that would send Jonathan Ikone to the Giallorossi for Andrea Belotti.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia report that Olympiacos have approached Fiorentina to ask after Brekalo.
The Croatia international had been on the verge of a return home for Dinamo Zagreb when talks suddenly stalled.
That was meant to be a loan for €200,000 with an option to buy at the end of the season.
