After six months struggling for minutes at Benfica, Obrador has found fresh momentum with Torino in Serie A, a development the Lisbon club view positively as it could bring further income.
According to A Bola, he has repaired his image at Benfica within months, showcasing the qualities that made him a coveted prospect in Real Madrid’s academy and that underpinned a standout season with Deportivo de Corunha.
He caught the eye in Torino’s 2-0 win over Lazio, supplying the assist for their second goal.
His move is a loan until the end of the season, with an option for the Italian club to buy for nine million euros, while Benfica would retain a 10% sell-on clause.
This season he has made six competitive appearances for Torino, five in Serie A and one in the Coppa Italia, amounting to 329 minutes and one assist.
