Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Copenhagen at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night as they look to secure a victory at home in the UEFA Champions League. Spurs suffered a tough 1-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea in the London derby recently, so they would be eager to put in a much-improved showing in midweek.

Thomas Frank will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his starting XI for this game. Wilson Odobert, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie could all play from the start of this contest.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will feature in between the sticks for the North London club after he shipped in one goal in his last appearance. Cristian Romero will function alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Pedro Porro will try to impress as the right-back, while Destiny Udogie hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves in the Copenhagen half.

Kevin Danso and Djed Spence will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Pape Matar Sarr and Joao Palhinha will anchor the midfield for Tottenham as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Wilson Odobert, Xavi Simons and Mohamed Kudus will play just ahead of them as part of the Tottenham attack. All three of them need to be at their best if Spurs are to come away with all three points from this game against Copenhagen.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Brennan Johnson will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Richarlison will lead the line for the North London club up top. He has to figure out a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Randal Kolo Muani will have to settle for a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the final quarter of the game if required.
