Germany Under-20s recorded a second big win in just a few days. After their 6-0 victory over Romania (with David Odogu playing 45 minutes), they followed up with a 5-0 win against Italy, with our 19-year-old defender once again on the pitch - this time for the full match - and helping secure another clean sheet.

Luka Modrić's Croatia came from behind to beat Montenegro in a match that had no impact on qualification, as they had already secured a World Cup spot by beating the Faroe Islands last time out. Montenegro went 2-0 up before Zlatko Dalić's side fought back to win 3-2, with Modrić coming on in the 78th minute when the score was 2-2.
