Odsonne Edouard left out for Trophée des champions, Franjo Ivanovic starts v PSG | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Odsonne Édouard has been left off the RC Lens teamsheet for the Trophée des champions against PSG as a precaution, while new arrival Franjo Ivanovic starts.

Édouard felt adductor discomfort against Sunderland last Saturday on the very dry Bollaert pitch. He showed encouraging signs in Saturday’s full session, but the staff opted not to risk the 28-year-old.

Kick-off is Sunday at 20:45.

Loaned by Benfica on Wednesday, Croatia international Ivanovic leads the line with Abdallah Sima and captain Florian Thauvin. In midfield, Algeria international Yacine Titraoui partners Michaël Cuisance.
