Betway Premiership outfit TS Galaxy have confirmed the departure of centre-back Qobolwakhe Sibande.
The 25-year-old defender is set to join Egyptian Premier League side Petrojet SC, despite interest from fellow Egyptian team Ghazl El Mahalla.
Sibande joined Galaxy in July 2024 from Stellenbosch FC and went on to make 21 appearances with two assists across all competitions.
Prior to completing a move to North Africa, he featured 11 times and chipped in with a solitary assist for the Rockets this season.
Now, he will become the second South African in the Egyptian Premier League as he joins former Cape Town City striker Fagrie Lakay, who turns out for Ceramica Cleopatra.
Petrojet currently sit ninth in the log standings, having accumulated 19 points from 14 league outings this campaign.
Meanwhile, Galaxy have also facilitated the transfers of Puso Dithejane to Chicago Fire in the Major League Soccer (MLS) and Khulumani Ndamane to Mamelodi Sundowns, although the latter was initially signed in September 2025.
