FC Magdeburg has secured the signing of Guinean winger Kandet Diawara. Arriving from Le Havre AC, the 25-year-old has officially joined the German 2. Bundesliga club this Thursday, August 7, 2025, thus bringing his adventure in France to a close.

Although under contract with Le Havre until 2026, Kandet Diawara was no longer part of the plans for the Normandy side. Loaned out over the past two seasons to US Concarneau and then Pau FC, the Guinean international had been searching for stability and regular playing time. He has now found a fresh destination where he will begin a new chapter in his career.

The two clubs have reached an agreement for a permanent transfer. While the fee and contract length have not been disclosed, it is clear that Magdeburg is counting on Diawara's explosive profile to energize their attack this season.

Known for his pace and ability to make the difference down the flank, Kandet Diawara leaves France with the ambition to establish himself in a league renowned for its intensity and discipline. He stated that he is "ready to win over his new supporters" and eager to embrace the challenge awaiting him in Germany.
