SCO Angers have signed Amine El Ouazzani (25) on a season-long loan from SC Braga, it was confirmed on Monday. 

Angers, who lost manager Alexandre Dujeux earlier in the summer, have been active in the transfer market. Anthony Bermont has signed from RC Lens, Anthony Lopes has joined on a free transfer following the expiry of his deal at FC Nantes, Branco Van den Boomen has signed on a free after terminating his contract at Ajax Amsterdam, and Usman Simbakoli has also joined on a permanent transfer.

El Ouazzani has become Le Sco’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window. The Moroccan, who began his career in France, has signed on a season-long loan deal from Braga. The forward played for Bourg-en-Bresse on 55 occasions, scoring 11 goals, before playing for two seasons with EA Guingamp in Ligue 2.

Last season, he scored just twice in 24 games in all competitions for Braga.
