Atalanta have officially confirmed the appointment of Raffaele Palladino as the club’s new head coach following the sacking of Ivan Juric after just 11 games of the Serie A season on Monday afternoon.
Atalanta confirmed on Monday that they had parted company with Juric after 11 league matches of the 2025-26 season. His last two Serie A games ended in defeat, which followed a run of six consecutive draws in the league for a total of six points from the last eight matches. La Dea have been left in 13th place in the table as a result.
Atalanta have wasted little time in appointing a successor to Juric. Former Monza and Fiorentina head coach Palladino will take over the mantle at the New Balance Arena with a contract to June 2027.

He is due to take charge of his first match against the reigning Serie A champions, Napoli, on November 22 after the international break.
Football Italia understands that Palladino has signed an initial 18-month contract with Atalanta, which will see him through until the end of the 2026-27 campaign.
Palladino will be accompanied by assistant manager Stefano Citterio, technical collaborator Federico Peluso (a former Atalanta player), fitness coaches Fabio Corabi and Nicola Riva, match analysts Andrea Ramponi and Mattia Casella.
He is keeping Cristian Raimondi, Marco Savorani, Sabino Oliva, Marcello Iaia, Stefano Brambilla and Andrea Vigni from the existing staff.
