Official | Augsburg sign Niklas Dorsch for €7m

Bundesliga side Augsburg have today confirmed the signing of 23-year-old German midfielder Niklas Dorsch from KAA Gent for a reported €7 million fee.

Dorsch has signed a contract until 2026 after one season in Belgium.

“It was impressive how much time the club invested in me. The fit was right from the start, which gave me a really good feeling. Overall, the total package offered by FCA, including the sporting perspective, was key for me. I am really looking forward to joining FCA and playing in the Bundesliga,” said Dorsch.

As per Kicker, Augsburg will pay a further €1m to Gent in performance related bonuses.
