Official: Barcelona announce the signing of Swedish super talent | OneFootball

After weeks of negotiations, Barcelona have finally announced the signing of Roony Bardghji.

The Swedish youngster is considered one of the most talented players in Europe and has shown immense talent during his time at Copenhagen.

Bardghji has been in talks with Barcelona for quite a while now and joins as part of the club’s plans to add more quality to the Barça Atletic team.

Barcelona are expected to pay in excess of €2 million for the services of Bardghji, and the player has signed a four-year deal until 2029.

Bardghji will become Barcelona’s second signing of the summer, after Joan Garcia, who joined from Espanyol earlier in the summer.

That being said, he will be a part of Barcelona’s pre-season training camp and will also reportedly travel to the Asian tour.

Barcelona did not publish a dedicated announcement post for the youngster, but that is understandable for the time being as he is expected to play a large part in the youth team’s campaign.

Bardghji will essentially be given an opportunity to prove himself by training with the first team. If he does manage to make an impression, he could be considered for the first team.

A right winger by trade, Bardghji could prove to be an asset for Barcelona in the long run, especially if he can live up to his potential at Camp Nou.

However, the youngster must proceed with patience and maturity, knowing he won’t immediately get a chance to play with the likes of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.

But with Barcelona struggling to sign a new forward this summer, having someone like Bardghji always gives Hansi Flick some good insurance.
