FC Barcelona was always looking to ensure departures during this summer transfer window. After all, La Blaugrana could use all the financial benefits and boosts that they can muster. With their spending ability still being limited, Barcelona need ways to constantly generate revenue.
That is why many players have been continuously linked to exits this summer. For better or for worse, Barcelona is also willing to be harsh and cold when needed to put pressure on unwanted players and help them find a new home.
Following the departure of Spanish midfielder Pablo Torre, others were expected to follow his example. Now, it appears that Barcelona has managed to offload another player on a permanent deal this summer.

As confirmed officially by FC Barcelona, 23-year-old Spanish forward Pau Victor has now left the club. Instead, the Spaniard has now joined SC Braga and will look to completely devote himself to the Portuguese club moving forward.
In terms of the details, Fabrizio Romano has highlighted that the Catalan giants will be permanently transferring the player in exchange for a formal transfer fee. SC Braga will pay €12 million as a fixed fee for the forward with an additional €3 million being included through variables and add-ons.
However, despite his commitment to the club and his desire to always be ready for Hansi Flick, it was perhaps the right decision to transfer Pau Victor. After all, with the arrival of Marcus Rashford this summer, it becomes increasingly likely that the Spanish forward’s minutes next season would have been extremely limited.
As for Rashford, he has been included in the squad that is travelling to Asia for the club’s preseason tour. There are great expectations from him at Barcelona, and it remains to be seen what he can manage to do about them as the season progresses.
