A pair of Barcelona stars have been rewarded for their efforts en route to the club’s victory on the continent on Wednesday night.

The duo in question? Lamine Yamal, and Robert Lewandowski.

Attackers Lamine and Lewandowski were of course both in from the off yesterday evening, as Barcelona kicked the club’s Champions League campaign back into gear in a quarter-final first-leg meeting with Borussia Dortmund.

And, en route to an eventual 4-0 rout on the part of the Blaugrana, both played starring roles.

Wide-man Lamine dazzled from his berth on the right flank, running Dortmund’s backline ragged before rounding out the scoring courtesy of a fine left-footed finish.

Attacking partner-in-crime Lewandowski, meanwhile, was also in stellar form on the evening, notching a brace to keep alive what has been nothing short of a remarkable campaign in front of goal.

And as alluded to above, 24 hours on, both players have seen their efforts aptly recognised.
