Just recently, FC Barcelona found out who they would be facing in this season’s UEFA Champions League. Initially, however, they only know about their opponents for the league phase. With that out of the way, the next step would be for UEFA to confirm the schedule.

That particular schedule would then confirm when the games would be taking place and in what order. Now, recently, Barça has just officially confirmed what the schedule will be for their 2025/26 UCL league phase run.

First four games for Barcelona

First up for the Catalan giants will be a match against Premier League side Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in England. The opening fixture of the Champions League for Barça, it will take place on the 18th of September.

Then, on the 1st of October, Barça will welcome Paris Saint-Germain to Spain. While it is yet to be confirmed whether or not the Camp Nou will be ready in time to host the game, it is still a big fixture for both teams irrespective of what stadium Barça uses.

After that, Greek side Olympiacos will also arrive in Spain to take on Barça. That particular game will take place on the 21st of October and will be the third game for La Blaugrana.

Then, on the 5th of November, Barça will be playing against Club Brugge away from home. While this is a match that the Catalan giants will be favourites to win, no away game ever arrives without its unique hurdles.

Final four games of the UCL league phase

Up next, on the 25th of November, Hansi Flick’s side will travel once again to England to take on Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge. A unique European rivalry of sorts, this will definitely be a good match to keep an eye on.

Then, on the 9th of December, German side Eintracht Frankfurt will be visiting Barça. Both of these teams seem to have a score to settle, particularly the Catalan giants, and this will be a good opportunity to do so.

Up next is a game against Slavia Prague, and that will take place on the 21st of January. This time around, however, Barça will be the travelling side and will be playing away from home.

Lastly, the final league phase opponent for the Spanish giants will be FC Copenhagen. Interestingly, that is the club where Roony Bardghji previously played before signing for the Catalan side this summer. They will be visiting Spain to face off against Barcelona on the 28th of January, with the latter having the home advantage.
