FC Barcelona continue to secure the futures of several La Masia talents who are completing their time at the cadet level.
Following the recent signings of contract signings of Iu Martinez and Roberto Tomas, this Friday it was the turn of 16-year-old midfielder Michal Zuk.
“The player Michal Zuk has signed, in the presence of the director of Youth Football, Jose Ramon Alexanco, the continuity at the Club in his youth stage,” the statement from Barcelona read.
Zuk, 16, signed for the Barcelona academy in 2016 at the pre-benjamin stages from Aqua Hotel.
A technically gifted player with good movement, he spent five years at the club before having to leave La Masia in 2022 due to his family relocating to Poland.
Zuk returned twelve months later, and Barcelona, confident in his potential, brought him back into the academy.
An Under-16 international for Spain, Zuk has already made his debut this season for Barcelona’s Juvenil B team – a clear sign that his development is meeting expectations.
