FC Barcelona square off against Deportivo Alaves later tonight away at the Mendizorrotza Stadium aiming to celebrate their coronation as La Liga champions with a win.
The Blaugrana were confirmed as champions after winning the Clasico against Real Madrid 2-0 over the weekend and now have their sights set on hitting the 100-point mark in La Liga.
Ahead of the trip to Vitoria for tonight’s game, manager Hansi Flick has announced the squad list of players at his disposal.
The big news is that defender Andreas Christensen is back in the squad for the first time since December, having recovered from his partial ACL tear and received the medical green light.
It will be interesting to see whether the Dane receives any minutes off the bench against Alaves tonight.
Meanwhile, two midfielders, Frenkie de Jong and Fermin Lopez, are absent from the squad, although the reason for their omission is still unclear. Youngster Tommy Marques is called up to provide cover. Joao Cancelo is also not on the squad list.
Raphinha, meanwhile, misses out as he is suspended for the game due to an accumulation of cards.
Fellow academy prospects Alvaro Cortes and Xavi Espart also feature in the squad and will be hoping to get a chance off the bench at some point.
