Official: Barcelona squad list to face Real Sociedad | Cancelo in, Raphinha out | OneFootball

Barcelona have released their official squad as they take on Real Sociedad at the Riyadh Arena later this evening.

The Catalans are coming on the back of an 11-game winning streak that saw Hansi Flick match the record held by Luis Enrique.

Another win, therefore, could see him overtake Enrique and move a step closer to matching Frank Rijkaard’s all-time record of 18 wins in a row.

Heading into this game, though, Barcelona have confirmed that Raphinha will be missing out. The Brazilian has not been included in the squad to face Sociedad, which could be a potential blow for the visiting side.

Meanwhile, new signing Joao Cancelo has been included in the squad for the first time and is in contention for a start against Sociedad.

There are not many changes elsewhere, with Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji in focus, in the absence of Raphinha.

Ronald Araujo makes the squad as well, though it remains to be seen whether or not the Uruguayan international will find himself in the starting eleven.

Flick, after all, might not look to tinker too much from a team that has clearly showcased match-winning abilities and a win here could go a long way in putting more pressure on Real Madrid.
