FC Barcelona will be aiming to secure their first trophy under Hansi Flick when they face off against Real Madrid later tonight in the finals of the Spanish Super Cup.

Having seen off Athletic Club in the semi-finals earlier in the week, the Blaugrana will be gunning for a win tonight in Jeddah and set the tone for the second half of the season by winning silverware.

Ahead of kickoff, Flick has announced the Barcelona starting lineup that will face Carlo Ancelotti’s men and as expected, there are no changes made to the team that started in the semi-finals.

Wojciech Szczesny once again gets the nod over Inaki Pena in the Barça goal – marking his third consecutive start.

Meanwhile, Jules Kounde, Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez, and Alejandro Balde form the rearguard, with the exit-linked Ronald Araujo left out on the bench.

Pedri and Marc Casado hold on to their places in the midfield double pivot while Gavi also features again after his MotM display vs Athletic Club. It means Dani Olmo is left out on the bench despite being registered and available.

Up top, Barcelona will rely on the attacking trident of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha to do the damage against Real Madrid.
