FC Barcelona are set to kick off their game against Real Madrid shortly in La Liga. For both teams, this is a game that could change their entire perspective on the league title. However, Barcelona will want to end all hopes for their rival in this game.
Currently four points ahead, a win in this game would take Barça ahead by seven points. Moreover, since it is taking place at the Montjuic Stadium, the Catalan giants will at least have home advantage against their biggest rivals.
Thus, it makes sense as to why La Blaugrana would have wanted to field their strongest possible starting eleven for this game.
Here is the official starting line-up that Hansi Flick has chosen for this game.
In goal, as was already revealed by Flick previously, Wojciech Szczesny starts. He has been solid this season, but he will need to do better than he has done in his recent performances.
Ahead of him, Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez start as the two centre-backs. The Spaniards possess great technical ability, but they will have to be much more alert and effective than they have been in some recent games.
On their flanks, Eric Garcia and Gerard Martin reprise their roles as the two full-backs for the team. This means that Hansi Flick is going with the same back-line that started the game against Inter Milan as well.

The midfield consists of Pedri and Frenkie de Jong. Both midfield maestros have been crucial for Barcelona throughout this season and this is yet another game where they both will be needed if the Catalan giants are to manage a positive result.
Ahead of them, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha occupy the wings and they have already proven the kind of threat they pose to Real Madrid throughout this season. In between them, Dani Olmo starts as the central attacking midfielder.
Up top, Ferran Torres starts for Barcelona and he will be looking to continue his strong form. While he failed to score against Inter Milan in the second leg at the San Siro, he has been consistently performing at a high level for the team.
