Official: Barcelona unveil special Coldplay kits for El Clasico | OneFootball

Barcelona’s partnership with Spotify has led to the Catalans collaborating with a variety of music artists over the past couple of years.

The likes of The Rolling Stones, Drake, Rosalia, and Karol G have had their special emblems featured on the Barcelona shirt in place of the club’s main sponsor, Spotify, for special matches.

Now, heading into this month’s El Clasico against Real Madrid, Barcelona have entered into a collaboration with iconic British band Coldplay.

And earlier today, the Catalans unveiled the special jersey, featuring the Coldplay logo, that they will be wearing on October 26, when they take on Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

In fact, the limited edition jersey will also be worn by the Barcelona Femeni team in their match against Eibar on November 2.

The emblem that will appear on the jersey is inspired by the band’s tenth album ‘Moon Music’, which dropped on October 4.

The jersey will be available for purchase from Friday, October 18.

Spotify, Coldplay and Barcelona will donate the proceeds from this match jerseys’ collection to a joint project from the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR/ACNUR) and the FC Barcelona Foundation.
