Billal Brahimi’s (25) OGC Nice contract has been terminated by mutual consent, the club have confirmed in a press release.

Brahimi joined Nice back in 2022, however, he has failed to establish himself under several different managers. The winger has been forced out on loan on two occasions, firstly to Stade Brestois and then later to Saint-Trond.

The Algerian has made one appearance for Nice this season, coming on for the final stages of the club’s 1-0 defeat to Toulouse FC on the first weekend of Ligue 1 football. However, on deadline day, and in the final week of the transfer window, Nice have added to their front line.

As a result, Brahimi was surplus to requirements, one year before the end of his contract at the club. As a result, it has been decided that the forward’s contract will be terminated by mutual consent. He is now free to sign for another club.
