Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has been nominated for Premier League Player of the Month for the month of January.
The maestro has had a really good month or so with Chelsea and to be honest, his form has been good for some time now. He is the one who makes Chelsea tick creatively and tries to make things happen, and he has grown in stature and confidence this season for sure. He was thriving under Enzo Maresca, and he seems to be thriving again now under Liam Rosenior.
The nominations are in now for the Premier League Player of the Month award, and as you can see from the image below, Fernandez is one of them.
He is joined by some other very good options but in all honesty, I think he actually has a pretty decent chance of winning it due to his form and scoring record of late.
You will be able to vote on the Premier League and the Chelsea websites, so if you’re a Chelsea fan, go ahead and jump on to get your nominations in and help our boy win.
Liam Rosenior’s reserved and compact setup against Arsenal in the League Cup from Tuesday night has been defended by a journalist in the aftermath of criticism he has been receiving for it.
Stats are often heavily looked at in modern day football, and it splits opinions. But interestingly, some stats we came across earlier this week shows that Chelsea only have a 25% win rate when one player is starting in the team. It doesn’t look good for them!
