Andrea Conti has left Milan and will look for consistency at Parma.
Conti joined Milan in the summer of 2017 with very big expectations after his stellar performances for Atalanta. However, the Italian faced a few big injuries and never reached the heights he was expected to.
With Davide Calabria locking the right back role, and Diogo Dalot & Pierre Kalulu proving to be competent alternatives, space was scarce for Conti at Milan and so he’s decided to leave the club.
“Milan and Parma Calcio 1913 have reached an agreement over the loan of defender Andrea Conti. Parma Calcio 1913 will have an obligation to make the deal permanent under certain conditions,” a statement reads. “The Club would like to thank Andrea and wish him all the best for his personal and professional career.”
The aforementioned terms are most likely if Parma manage to survive in Serie A. They are currently in 19th place with 13 points from 18 matches.
