Official: Diallo joins Parma from Borussia Dortmund | OneFootball

Ousmane Diallo left Borussia Dortmund a year before the end of his contract. The 19-year-old has joined Serie A club Parma as the deal was announced by both sides on Friday.

The winger hasn’t featured for the first-team of the club he joined in 2023 from Deportivo Alavés’s youth team. The Spanish U19 international played regularly for Dortmund II last season in Regionalliga West.

“Ousmane (Diallo) has developed very well with us, not least because of his performances in the U19 European Championship victory of Spain. It has opened up the opportunity for him to move to Serie A. We wish him all the best for his journey at Parma and will closely monitor his development.” said BVB’s head of youth performance center, Paul Schaffran.

His last sentence suggested Dortmund might add a buyback clause in the deal. Parma are planning with Diallo for the first-team as he signed a deal until 2031.
