Eintracht Frankfurt – expected to confirm the sale of striker Igor Matanovic to SC Freiburg soon – have completed the sale of another center-forward. After spending last season on loan at KV Kortrijk, Spanish U19 international Ignacio “Nacho Ferri” Julia heads to another Belgian outfit permanently. Nacho Ferri’s Bundesliga club have sold him to KVC Westerlo for €2m.

Nacho Ferri did well on loan in the Belgian Pro League last season, scoring eight goals and contributing two assists in 34 appearances across all competitions. His time in Germany wasn’t wholly unsuccessful either. The Spaniard banged home ten goals for the Eintracht reserves in the fourth tier during the 2023/24 campaign. He also made eight appearances for the senior team.

Nach Ferri has one Bundesliga goal, one DFB-Pokal start, and four Conference League appearances to his credit. The 20-year-old certainly made an impression on the German footballing scene. It is such that – Kicker reports – Eintracht have secured a buyback option as part of the deal.
