Eirik Granaas has signed a three-year contract with FC Porto to 2029, the club announced on Saturday. The 16-year-old Norwegian international will begin with Porto B while remaining in contact with the first-team squad.

Porto are paying €1.8 million for 100% of the midfielder’s economic rights, with a maximum €1.5 million in add-ons tied to first-team objectives.

Fredrikstad FK will receive 15% of any future sell-on profit, and Porto can recover 5% of that profit for €600,000. The Norwegian club will assume solidarity payments due to third parties, and intermediary fees total 5.6% of the deal.

Granaas came through at Stoppen SK and Mjøndalen IF, moving to Fredrikstad in 2025. After 23 matches and six goals for their B team, he debuted in the Norwegian top flight aged 15 years and 90 days, surpassing Martin Odegaard’s 2014 record by 27 days.

He also featured in a Europa League qualifying tie, becoming the youngest footballer to play in a European club competition since 1971. He is the second youngest goalscorer in the Norwegian league, behind Odegaard.
