Official: Gabriel Jesus handed iconic shirt as Barcelona squad numbers confirmed | OneFootball

The squad numbers afforded to the first-team squad at La Liga giants Barcelona have this week been officially unveiled.

And they confirm several changes from the 2025/26 campaign, owing to a combination of growing prominence, and status as a new member of Hansi Flick’s ranks.

When it comes to the latter, as previously announced, Anthony Gordon has been handed the no.17 jersey, with Karim Adeyemi having taken over the 14 shirt.

More recent signing Dominik Livaković, meanwhile, is Barcelona’s new no.25, whilst deadline day addition Gabriel Jesus has followed in a long line of Blaugrana legends, in taking ownership of the no.9.

Jesse Bisiwu, set to spend time with both Barca Atlètic and Hansi Flick’s senior ranks, has begun his Camp Nou career with the no.27 shirt.

Youngster Brian Fariñas has seen his first-team breakthrough recognised with the no.4, Xavi Espart is Barca’s new no.12, whilst Fermín López replaces Ferran Torres as no.7.
