Gennaro Gattuso has named his 27-man squad list for Italy’s games against Norway and Moldova.
Italy coach Gattuso has named his squad list for the upcoming World Cup qualifying fixtures against Moldova and Norway.
The Azzurri will visit Moldova on Thursday, November 13 and host Norway at San Siro on Sunday, November 16.

Cagliari goalkeeper Elia Caprile has earned his first senior call-up, while Alessandro Buongiorno and Samuele Ricci return after several months and are included in the Azzurri squad for the first time in Gattuso’s tenure.
Buongiorno had not been part of the team since March 2025, while the Milan midfielder’s last international call-up dated back to June.

Gianluca Scamacca is also back in the squad after being forced to withdraw in September because of an injury. The Atalanta forward is now fully recovered.
Inter midfielder Nicolò Barella is part of the team but will miss the next game against Moldova, serving a one-game ban.
On the other hand, Andrea Cambiaso, Davide Frattesi and Sandro Tonali are one yellow card away from suspension, so they’ll need to avoid a booking against Moldova to be available against Norway.
