The Cameroon international had left Beşiktaş at the end of his contract this summer, having joined the Istanbul outfit back in 2019 from Tottenham Hotspur. He featured 27 times across four years with the North London side, in a spell which also saw him go out on loan to Burnley and then Monaco.
The 28-year-old made just over a century of appearances with the Turkish club, scoring 21 goals a registering 9 assists. He notably won the league and cup double, as well as the Super Cup, in the 2020/21 campaign.
Damac are based in the south-west of the country, in the city of Khamis Mushait, and finished eighth in the league last season. The squad notably features former PSV Eindhoven midfielder Adam Maher and ex-Dinamo Zagreb man Domagoj Antolić.
