Official: Hansi Flicks named La Liga Best Coach of the Season for 2024/25 | OneFootball

Following a successful debut campaign, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has won the La Liga Best Coach of the Season honour for 2024/25.

The 60-year-old German tactician took over the reins of the team last summer after the dismissal of club legend Xavi Hernandez following a trophyless campaign.

Flick, in his maiden season at Barcelona, turned the club’s fortunes around, leading them to a domestic treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup, while having the team play an attractive, attacking brand of football.

Barcelona went on to win La Liga fairly comfortably, losing only six games and scoring as many as 102 goals – the most by any team in the top five leagues of Europe.

Having been named the La Liga Coach of the Month three times during the course of the season, the German tactician has now bagged the Best Coach of the Season award.

Flick beats the likes of Manuel Pellegrini (Real Betis), Jose Bordalas (Getafe ), Manolo Gonzalez, (RCD Espanyol), Michel (Girona FC), Ernesto Valverde (Athletic Club) and Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid) in the final vote.
