Paris FC have officially announced the signing of Georgian midfielder Andria Kvirikadze (18) for the capital club. Having come through the ranks at Dinamo Tbilisi academy, like his illustrious compatriot at Paris Saint-Germain Kvicha Kvaratskhelia (25), the Batumi-born player has signed a three-year contract with PFC, running until 2029.
Although he has not yet had the opportunity to make his professional debut, Kvirikadze did feature in Dinamo’s Youth League campaign last season, coming on as a substitute against Cypriot side AEK Larnaca.
A Georgian Under-17 international, the midfielder will need to convince Liam Rosenior – who is expected to be announced shortly as the Parisian club’s manager – to give him his first appearance in Ligue 1.
For Paris FC, Kvirikadze’s arrival is part of the club’s commitment “to continue developing its squad by relying on young players with great potential, capable of fitting into the club’s sporting project,” explains the press release.
