Official I Rémy Descamps extends Lyon contract until 2029 | OneFootball

Rémy Descamps (29) has extended his contract with Olympique Lyonnais until 2029, the club have officially announced.

Originally signed with Les Gones until June 2027, the goalkeeper has now extended his contract for two additional seasons. Arriving in the Rhône region on a free transfer in the summer of 2024, Descamps has established himself as a reliable backup, but also as a true leader in the dressing room.

Having played on 12 occasions since the start of the season, he has kept seven clean sheets and has been an excellent replacement for his teammate Dominik Greif (28) when Paulo Fonseca has called on him. He started in all four of OL’s Coupe de France matches this season and also played four times for Les Rouge et Bleu both in the Europa League and Ligue 1.

Descamps, who came up through Paris Saint-Germain and played for Tours FC, Clermont Foot and Royal Charleroi SC, has made 15 appearances for Lyon.
