Primavera starlets Christos Alexiou and Dilan Zarate have reportedly signed new contracts with Inter Milan.

According to FCInterNews, both youngsters have penned long-term contracts at San Siro.

Despite drawing numerous inquiries during the summer transfer window, Christos Alexiou has remained in Milan.

Indeed, the prodigious center-back will continue to captain the Primavera side this season under Stefano Vecchi.

Spezia and Inter were reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ over the 20-year-old’s loan move to Stadio Alberto Picco.

However, the deal fell through.

In addition to Spezia, Olympiacos had also tested Inter’s will.

Yet, the Nerazzurri have never considered offloading the Greek defender, forcing the Piraeus club to withdraw from talks.

Meanwhile, Zarate is another Primavera product to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Indeed, the 18-year-old midfielder has pledged his long-term future to Giuseppe Meazza.

Zarate has already made three league appearances for Vecchi’s side this season, albeit without any contribution.

Nonetheless, both players remain central to Vecchi’s set-up.
