Official: Inter talent Carboni completes move to Olympique Marseille | OneFootball

Inter have officially confirmed that talented forward Valentin Carboni has completed his transfer to Olympique Marseille.

The 19-year-old Argentinian playmaker spent the 2023-24 season on loan with Frosinone, where he impressed across his 31 Serie A matches, scoring two goals and providing four assists. His development generated belief at the Nerazzurri, who eagerly awaited his return.

Inter did not want to fully lose control of Carboni following Marseille’s emergence this summer, so set up a new five-year contract with the 19-year-old and included a buy-back clause on his move to France.

Inter confirm Carboni move

As confirmed today, Inter have now sent Carboni to Marseille on a €1m loan deal with a €36m buy option attached. A buy-back clause worth circa €40m has also been included, giving them control over his future.

The 19-year-old Argentinian talent will wear the number 7 shirt in Ligue 1 and is now ready to start working with Roberto De Zerbi and his new teammates.
