Juventus have officially sold Gianluca Frabotta to West Bromwich Albion, who snatched him away from QPR at the last minute.
According to Sky Sport Italia, it is effectively a free transfer, but Juve will be guaranteed a 20 per cent cut of any future sale.
He had been all set to join Queens Park Rangers, but last night transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported that suddenly West Brom dived in with a stronger offer.
His entourage was already in London for those negotiations and proposed a better salary to the player than the one offered by QPR.
Frabotta completed his medical this morning and has now finalised the transfer.
The 25-year-old left-back can also play in central defence or in a more advanced wing-back role.
A product of the Bologna youth academy, he first joined Juve in 2019 for €2.7m and went on loan spells to Hellas Verona, Lecce, Frosinone, Bari and most recently Cosenza.
