Juventus have officially announced the signing of winger Francisco Conceicao on a permanent deal from Porto after a successful loan spell in Turin during the 2024-25 campaign.

The 22-year-old, who joined Juventus on a straight loan deal for the 2024-25 season, which was later extended until the end of the FIFA Club World Cup, has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Bianconeri, which will run until the summer of 2030.

He arrived back in Turin and completed his medical with Juventus earlier on Tuesday.

The Portugal international becomes Juve’s second permanent signing of the summer, following the addition of free agent Jonathan David at the beginning of July.

“Francisco Conceicao is officially a Juventus player on a permanent basis. After spending the 2024/25 season on loan from FC Porto, the Portuguese winger has now signed a contract that ties him to the Bianconeri until 2030,” a statement on the club website read.

“The move comes just weeks after Conceicao’s loan spell ended with Juventus’ run at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America. Now, the 22-year-old will be staying with a permanent contract signed and sealed.

“Congratulations, Chico – we can’t wait to see you back out on the pitch!”

Conceicao provided six goals and seven assists from his 40 appearances across all competitions during his initial loan spell, which did not include an option to buy, despite Juventus deciding to purchase the player regardless.

Only Kenan Yildiz completed more dribbles for The Old Lady in 2024-25, and only Dusan Vlahovic touched the ball more times in the area for Juventus last season.
