Krépin Diatta (27) has left AS Monaco following the expiry of his deal with the Principality club, it was confirmed on Tuesday.
Diatta joined Les Monégasques from Club Brugge back in 2021 for a €16m fee. He ruptured his ACL soon after his move to France but has since been a useful squad player for the club, able to fill in on both wings, as well as at full-back. His versatility saw him feature 22 times last season in what was his final campaign at the Stade Louis II.
He leaves Les Monégasques having played 143 times in all competitions, scoring eight goals and registering nine assists in that time. Diatta, currently at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Senegal, is now a free agent.
He is one of several departures, with the buy options in the loan deals of Simon Adingra and Wout Faes not triggered by the Principality club. The Ligue 1 club have, however, opted to retain Ansu Fati.
