Official: Miretti completes his loan move to Besiktas | OneFootball

Fabio Miretti has officially joined Besiktas, as Juventus announced his departure on its official website, with the midfielder reuniting with Dusan Vlahovic in Turkiye.

The Turkish club signed Vlahovic as a free agent after he left Juventus at the end of June and has now returned to Turin to sign Miretti at the request of Vincenzo Italiano.

The former Fiorentina manager became their new coach this season and wants to add several top names to his team, with Miretti considered a top talent.

Miretti was groomed at Juventus and came through the ranks at the club, but Luciano Spalletti does not favour the midfielder, so the club was always open to his sale.

Miretti gets a chance away from Juventus

A year ago, he was close to moving to Napoli, but an injury just before the season started ended that move. He now has the chance to prove himself outside Juve.

Miretti has been at the Bianconeri throughout his professional career, so a move to Turkiye represents a major change for the midfielder.

However, he will play under an Italian manager and will have Vlahovic as a teammate again, which should help him settle into his new surroundings.

Besiktas hold option to sign Miretti

Juve reports that it is a loan move, but the Turkish side has the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.

Besiktas will hope that Miretti can impress enough during his loan spell to convince them to exercise that option. His arrival gives Italiano another talented midfielder to work with as he looks to strengthen his squad.

For Juventus, the move provides Miretti with an opportunity to gain regular playing time away from Turin after struggling to establish himself under Spalletti.

If Besiktas decide to make the move permanent, Juventus could also benefit financially from the transfer. The Turkish club will hope Miretti develops into an important player for them, while the midfielder will be determined to make the most of his opportunity.

The reunion with Vlahovic adds another familiar connection for Miretti as he begins this new chapter of his career in Turkiye.
