This had been in the pipeline after Mohamed Salah's hard-hitting media appearance. The Egyptian star has been left out of Arne Slot's squad for Liverpool's Champions League match tomorrow.

On Tuesday, Liverpool travel to Milan to take on Inter in the Champions League. Currently sitting thirteenth in the table, the English club needs a win away at the 4th-placed side to avoid a complicated end to the group stage. As previously reported, the Merseyside club will make the trip to Italy without Mohamed Salah.

The reigning English champions have just announced the 19-man squad selected by Arne Slot. The squad includes: Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Isak, Mac Allister, Bradley, Jones, Ekitike, Mamardashvili, Robertson, Woodman, Gravenberch, Nyoni, Ngumoha, and Lucky.
