Napoli have officially signed midfielder Philip Billing from Bournemouth, on loan with option to buy for a reported total of €10m.
The Denmark international flew in last night and completed his medical before signing the paperwork.
An announcement was made this evening, as is traditional for the Partenopei first by President Aurelio De Laurentiis on X – formerly known as Twitter – and then on the official club website.
It is a loan move with an option to buy at the end of the season, with multiple sources reporting the total fee would amount to circa €10m.

The 28-year-old is set to earn €1m for the next six months in Serie A, while if he signs on a permanent basis, the wages would climb to €3m per season net.
Sky Sport Italia had reported that Milan made a last-minute approach to intercept talks over the last 24 hours, but that Billing had already given his word to Napoli.
He is effectively the replacement for Michael Folorunsho, who joined Fiorentina on loan with option to buy for circa €10m.
