La Liga outfit Osasuna have on Monday unveiled the latest instillation on the club’s bench.
As much, of course, comes after long-time Rojillos boss Jagoba Arrasate recently confirmed his decision not to renew his contract terms.
The brass at El Sadar, in turn, kicked into gear an extensive managerial search, featuring a whole host of names from across the Spanish football landscape.
Recent media reports, though, had seen it suggested that this list had been whittled down to just two managers.
Both came in the form of recently-dismissed Almería tacticians, in the form of Rubi, and Vicente Moreno.
And, on Monday, it is the latter who has officially won out in the race to take up the reins at Osasuna for the 2024/25 campaign.
As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the Pamplona club:
‘Club Atlético Osasuna has named Vicente Moreno as head coach for the 2024-25 season. His coaching staff will will include Dani Pendín as assistant coach, Dani Pastor as head of performance and Ramón Alturo as head analyst. The new coach will address the media tomorrow at a press conference to be held at El Sadar.’
