La Liga outfit Osasuna have on Thursday announced a fresh addition to the club’s defensive ranks.
This comes by way of the signing of Enzo Boyomo from Spanish top-flight rivals Real Valladolid.
The name of stopper Boyomo has taken its place front and centre in the media chatter surrounding Osasuna for several weeks now.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the Cameroon international had been identified as a leading transfer target on the part of the brass at El Sadar.
Still on the lookout for reinforcements at the heart of defence following the departure of David García, Osasuna, in turn, kicked into gear what proved to be lengthy negotiations with their counterparts at Real Valladolid.
And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, such talks have at last borne fruit.
As per a statement across the club’s website and social media platforms:
‘Club Atlético Osasuna has reached an agreement with Real Valladolid for the transfer of Enzo Boyomo.’
The deal at hand comes for an initial fee of €5 million, followed by a further €500,000 in potential bonuses. Real Valladolid also boast a 10% sell-on clause.
Boyomo has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at El Sadar.
