FC Porto have officially approached Barcelona with a proposal to loan Ansu Fati, according to a recent report from Pedro Almeida.
Ansu’s future at Barcelona has become a major topic of discussion recently, with various European clubs expressing interest in the young forward.
Teams such as Benfica, Ajax, Besiktas, and Fenerbahce have all been linked with him, and now FC Porto has entered the picture.
Porto’s interest in Ansu could be connected to their own player, Nico Gonzalez, being a target for Manchester City.
While Ansu may not be an identical replacement for Gonzalez, his attacking qualities would still offer Porto a significant boost. His move to Porto could help fill the gap left by Gonzalez, providing much-needed depth to their squad.
For Barcelona, the situation with Ansu is becoming increasingly urgent, as the club looks for the right solution regarding his future.
Barcelona have made one final push to his agent, Jorge Mendes, urging him to secure a move where the young forward can feel like an important figure at his new club.

This is seen as a necessary step for all parties involved, with Barcelona hoping to see the forward flourish elsewhere while also finding a club where he can be a regular starter.
Barcelona’s stance has been clear since before Christmas. Sporting director Deco had discussions with Mendes, encouraging him to find a new club for the player, while manager Hansi Flick explained the situation regarding his limited role at Barcelona.
Although the forward knows he won’t be getting significant playing time at Barcelona, both Flick and his coaching staff have pledged to help him improve his physical condition if he stays with the team.
Mendes is managing interest from various Turkish clubs for Ansu, but he is also considering options in Portugal, with some clubs there showing interest as well.
In addition, there have been inquiries from Spanish teams. Mendes respects Ansu’s wishes but is also fully aware that regular playing time is crucial for the young player’s development and future career.
